First BELTA Webinar - "Professional Development for Now and the Future: A 2013 Guide" with Vicky Loras

We are delighted to announce that our first BELTA professional development webinar will be given by Vicky Loras. In "Professional Development for Now and the Future: A 2013 Guide" she will give her view of professional development in 2013 and the range of options available to ELT professionals. It will take place on Sunday the 17th of February at 1600 CET.

Vicky is well known in the ELT community for her enthusiasm and support for teachers throughout the world, something she does through her Twitter account, Facebook and her blog. She is also an editorial board member for the English Teachers Association of Switzerland journal.

As someone who has mastered the modern tools of professional development (blogs, social media) while simultaneously investing in the classic modes too (journals, teaching associations, conferences), we feel she is the perfect person to go through the options available to our members.

And as a one off, this inaugural webinar will be open to all, members and non-members alike. We'd like as many people to know about BELTA as possible, so help us spread the word and pass on the details of this free professional development session to your colleagues.

To join this event:

1) Click here - http://lancelot.adobeconnect.com/belta
2) Make sure "Enter as a guest" is selected (it should be automatically) and enter your name.
3) Click "Enter room".
