This past Saturday, the BELTA Board along with family members, friends, and colleagues said goodbye to BELTA Board member, Joris De Roy. Joris passed away on 22 May 2017. The service was a beautiful tribute to a man who embodied the passion of English language teachers the world over. At that service, BELTA announced two initiatives in honour of Joris. The first was the renaming of the Travel Grant which was offered at this year’s BELTA Day.
