Abstract

Although a majority of us are already using AIs, they can still feel a bit arcane. Instead of feeling left behind, I want to empower both teachers and learners alike to become more autonomous.
In this session we will discuss four activities showcasing AI’s power to foster engagement and autonomous learning. This presentation will be followed by a short hands-on workshop.

Biography

Simon Halleux (B.A. Trad., MA. Lit) teaches English for Specific Purposes at Forem.
He brings a wealth of experiences working with various profiles, which has always required him to adapt and tailor his lessons to his trainees’ specific needs, allowing him to experiment a lot with new approaches and tools.
