James Taylor (Past President)
James Taylor is BELTA ‘s former President. James is one of the original founders of BELTA and led BELTA through the first three very successful years of its existence. He recently stepped down from his positions as President and Communications Officer to embark upon other professional adventures, but stays connected to “the project he is most proud of in his professional career” in an advisory capacity. To say that James has seen the world is an understatement. James is originally from Brighton in the UK, but he has been based in Brazil, South Korea, Belgium and Costa Rica. He is a private English teacher who teaches business and general EFL to adults, has his own blog, moderates #ELTchat (a weekly discussion on Twitter with teachers from around the world), produces the TEFL Commute podcast, is an iTDi mentor, and is currently working on getting his DELTA.
