ABSTRACT
How can teachers make their pupils more media lit? This workshop will enhance teachers’ media literacy knowledge and provide them with a practical toolbox and treasure box full of inspirational classroom ideas, based on the newest media literacy teaching techniques and methodology.
BIOGRAPHY
Annelene Timmermans (°1984, Belgium) has twelve years of teaching experience. She is currently teaching English (EFL) and Dutch in two secondary schools in Flanders, but also has experience as an English lecturer at a Belgian teacher training college. As a language teacher, Annelene has been focusing on creating communicative classroom activities, re-thinking the local skills assessment system and integrating media literacy into language lessons
