Audience focus:
Classroom research is a very valid activity which is not practised by many teachers. My presentation is about my experiments and which I would like to share with the participants of BELTA day. I will demonstrate what I did in the classroom and later the participants will work in pairs to do some activities. The stories available on line will be examined and discussed and new ideas recorded. The value of my research will be evaluated and feedback discussed. Participants need to bring their laptop or iPad.
Presently, I am teaching at the Executive Training Institute, thus my Teacher-Trainer certificate is very useful. Throughout my long teaching career, I taught several levels and ages, but also kept on studying and taking part in conferences. So far I have two M.A. in English from the University of Malta, but I still have dreams of reading for another degree. Moreover, I enjoy engaging in classroom research in order to create some new activities and teaching methods, which might be useful to share.
