What a fantastic 12th edition of BELTA Day we have just experienced! On Saturday, 26th April 2025, nearly 100 delegates and 19 sponsors and partners from seven different European countries gathered at Campus Bloemenhof in Brussels for an inspiring day dedicated to English and foreign language teaching.
We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to everyone who made this day so special. A big thank you to our plenary speaker, Grzegorz Śpiewak, for his thought-provoking session on “How learning happens – and why you should care”, and to all the other speakers who shared their expertise and insights across a wide range of ELT topics. We are also grateful to our generous sponsors and partners, and to our host, Erasmushogeschool, for their warm welcome and support.
Our biggest thanks go to all attendees, who came from across Belgium and abroad. Your active participation, thoughtful questions, and willingness to share ideas created a vibrant and collaborative atmosphere. The discussions and exchanges throughout the day sparked new perspectives and strengthened our professional community.
Congratulations to Caroline Deltour and Etienne Vanassche, the winners of the Joris De Roy Memorial Grant, announced during the event.

Thank you all for your enthusiasm and engagement. You are what makes BELTA Day such a memorable and enriching event.
