ABSTRACT

Once a TBL or PBL learning cycle comes to an end, teachers need to start the assessment phase. This is the part where many teachers run into a wall. How can teachers go about assessing the products our learners create in the learning cycle successfully? Our learners need diagnostic feedback in order to improve, and they also expect some kind of assessment after presenting their product. This workshop will show you how to create a diagnostic assessment process to align with modern learners needs.

BIOGRAPHY

Dr Ron Morrain is the innovator of the concept *Ready-made Mind Maps *(RMMs), which facilitate second language acquisition through Task-based Learning (TBL) and Project-based Learning (PBL).

He started promoting the concept in the mid-90s in Germany, and has since been promoting the concept at conferences, universities, and teacher workshops throughout Europe - and worldwide.
