ABSTRACT

We will provide the participants with our ready-made teaching sequence on having learners create a video presentation. Then they will work with a free video software so that they can leave with their own mini project. What you can expect:

  • turnkey method
  • engaging language production activity for all levels
  • promoting many linguistic and life skills
  • a lot of fun!

BIOGRAPHIES

Véronique has been a teacher trainer at the ISPG for nearly 20 years. She joined the ILV- UCLouvain- in 2016. She is passionate about pedagogy and 21st-century skills and believes in the importance of creative methodology to involve the students. Above all, Véronique enjoys working in a team and believes that collaboration fosters a positive emulation.

Alice Meurice is a research assistant in modern language didactics and English for specific purposes teacher at the Université Catholique de Louvain, Belgium. Her main research area is foreign language teaching and the integration of information and communication technologies in the foreign language learning classroom and curriculum. Other research interests include the use of OER in language learning.

Marie teaches at the ILV (UCLouvain, Belgium). With her background in Business, she mainly teaches English and Dutch in the Faculty of Economic, Social and Political Sciences and Communication. Over the years, she has developed a keen interest in cross-curricular teaching and strongly believes that now is the time to implement new teaching methods that will give more meaning to learning.
