BELTA Day 2023

BELTA Day 2023

Dear BELTA friends

On 22 April 2023, the 10th BELTA Day took place in Brussels.
We celebrated this special anniversary edition, together with old and new BELTA friends.

We would like to thank everyone who helped to make this such a special day: plenary speakers Tyson Seburn and James Taylor, and all the speakers, who travelled to Brussels from 13 different countries! Thanks also to the many sponsors and partners and to our host Erasmushogeschool.

Our biggest gratitude goes to the attendees, who came from all over Belgium and some from abroad.
Their active participation, enthusiasm and eagerness to learn and network made this day really special.
The continued support from loyal BELTA Day participants as well as the presence of those who attended BELTA Day for the first time really touched us.

You can still find all the information about BELTA Day 2023 (plenaries, speakers, schedule, sponsors) here or by clicking on the button on the left.
The presentations and materials that were shared by the speakers can also be found there.
Have a look at two blogposts from a delegate and a speaker. Anastasia Kytmanova reflects on her first BELTA Day and speaker Jerome Washington recalls his stay in Brussels and his BELTA Day experience.

Meet the winners of our 10th anniversary Poetry Competition and the two winners of the Joris De Roy Memorial Grant.
Finally, feel the atmosphere of BELTA Day 2023 in our photo album of the day and listen to the lovely birthday messages we received from former plenary speakers Hugh Dellar (2015), Gavin Dudeney (2016), David Crystal (2017), and Scott Thornbury (2018).

THANK YOU! We hope to see you all again at BELTA Day 2024!
